1. Launching the App

 

Begin the registration process in the app.
  1. Open the vehicle inspection app.
  2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. First-time users will see the login/registration screen.
  4. Register using your phone number and verification code.
  5. After creating your account, you will be automatically redirected to the main interface.

2. Vehicle Verification

 

Link your vehicle to your account.
  1. Tap the Vehicle tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select Owner Verification

3. Submitting Information

 

Enter vehicle information and verify ownership.
  1. Fill out the required fields: VIN, engine number, registration number, etc.
  2. Tap Submit for Authentication
  3. If the information matches the system records → "Vehicle successfully linked"
  4. If the information is missing → "Owner certification record does not exist"
  5. If verification fails, recheck the VIN and engine number

1. How do I activate telematics services in my vehicle?

  • Vehicle Support Confirmation: First, verify that your vehicle supports telematics services.

 

  • App Download: Follow your dealer's instructions to download the app.

 

  • Service Activation: After downloading the app, follow the instructions to activate the telematics service, providing the appropriate information.

Users can operate telematics functions using the vehicle's screen or connect to the vehicle using a smartphone app to remotely control vehicle functions, check vehicle status, and access other services.

Telematics services offer a variety of features, including:

 

  • Real-time traffic information - providing current information on road conditions, such as traffic jams and accidents.
  • Navigation services - precise navigation and route planning.
  • Vehicle health monitoring - after pairing the car and activating the vehicle network via the mobile app, you can check the current status of the car, such as the status of doors, windows, air conditioning temperature, etc.
  • Remote control - the ability to remotely start and stop the engine, turn on the air conditioning, etc., using the mobile app.
  • Vehicle diagnostics - monitoring the vehicle's health in real time, providing fault diagnoses and early warnings.
  • Safety services - such as automatic collision assistance, roadside assistance, vehicle tracking, setting up a virtual fence, etc.
Telematics services are temporarily unavailable for European Union vehicles when used outside the European Union.

There is no need for one. Users can use telematics services after activating the system and pairing the vehicle. However, individual telematics features require prior acceptance of the relevant notifications and user agreements.

  • OTA (Over-The-Air) updates: Many modern vehicles support OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, allowing users to receive and install system updates while connected to the internet.
  • Updates via USB flash drive: Some vehicle manufacturers offer the option of updating the system via USB flash drive. Users can download the latest system software from the official website, save it to a flash drive, and then connect it to the vehicle's USB port to perform the update.
  • In-Service Updates: If your vehicle does not support OTA or USB flash drive updates, users can contact their dealer or authorized service center to schedule an in-service update.

Cancelling my telematics service is possible. There are several ways to cancel it:

  1. Canceling the service at the dealership:
    You can visit the dealership where you purchased your vehicle and ask the staff for assistance in canceling the telematics service. This is the simplest and safest method, as the dealership staff has detailed knowledge of the vehicle and the telematics system and can ensure a smooth cancellation process.

  2. Disabling the service yourself:
    You can log out of the car network service via the mobile app; the path is: App -> Settings -> Logout. Please note that once you cancel your telematics service, you will no longer have access to convenient features offered by the service, such as remote control of vehicle functions, real-time traffic information, online music playback, etc.

The subscription is currently offered free of charge for 3 years.

Prevention: Use the virtual fence feature in advance – if the vehicle enters or exits a designated area, an alarm will be triggered and a notification will be sent.

 

Tracking: Users can contact after-sales service to enable the stolen vehicle tracking feature and monitor its location.

Provision of data services: The vehicle uses a VDF SIM card to provide data services within the European Union, automatically selecting a local operator with a roaming agreement, depending on the country and region in which it is located.

 

Selection of other network operators: The TBOX system prioritizes the local operator with the strongest signal.

The app can automatically sync real-time vehicle information after activating the car in the app.

The vehicle is equipped with an eCall function, which allows for automatic initiation of an emergency call in the event of an accident, or manual initiation of an emergency call by holding the SOS button on the dome light for approximately 3 seconds when assistance is needed. Emergency services are provided by the local Emergency Response Center (EPR).

The basic functions of the CarConnect service can be shared with family members or other people.

  • Number of people who can be authorized: 10.

  •  

    Features that can be shared include checking vehicle status, using the vehicle's remote control function, etc.

How to grant access?

The vehicle is managed by the user who first linked the vehicle to the app. To grant access to another user, they must download the app and then create an account.

 

The administrator grants access by selecting App -> My Vehicle -> Settings -> Remote Access Overview -> Add.

 

In the menu that appears, configure access:

Username

Phone Number – the phone number associated with the account to which access is to be granted

Start and End Times – the time period for which access is to be granted

Vehicle Control Password – the password for remote access authorization

Permissions – the scope of granted permissions

 



  • To access the vehicle's user manual: First, click the red box, then the green box—this is where the user manual is located.



  • App user manual: This has not yet been integrated into the app; please expect it in future app versions.
The service is currently only available for EV and PHEV models.
